Sci Innovation

CCSA supports the establishment of Sci Innovation Centre, an international innovation hub that fulfills the mission under Shenzhen-Toronto International Friendship Cities MOU to promote exchanges in innovation. Sci Innovation collaborates closely with Canadian innovation ecosystem and venture networks joined by other innovation centres related to Shenzhen in US, Europe, Australia and Japan. 

Three annual events are hosted by Sci Innovation: Sci Innovation Competition, Sci Innovation Festival, and Greater Bay Area Sci-Tech Innovation Conference. Its mandate is to help entrepreneurs in both Canada and China realize their entrepreneurial dreams through comprehensive support, high-end services, global vision and exposure.

A total of 60+ Canadian companies have joined Sci Innovation’s trade mission to Shenzhen and 100+ others have made connections with investors, manufactures and distributors in China through Sci Innovation platform and through platforms such as China Information Technology Expo and China High Tech Fair in the past five years. Many of them have successfully signed partnership agreements, completed fund raising, and even set up branches in China.
